Open Garden at Cookridge
Carol and Michael Abbott held an Open Garden on Sunday 28th June 2009 (in conjunction with the National Garden Scheme). Carol and Michael's grandson, Danao, is currently in remission from Nephrotic Syndrome. The day was a huge success, blessed with good weather, many visitors came out to enjoy tea and cake in their wonderful garden. Daughter Johanna (Danao's mum) tells me people were very generous too - as an amazing sum of £580 was raised for NeST. Special thanks indeed to Carol and Michael for their hospitality.
